CURRENT OPENINGS:

  • Full Time Risk/Compliance/Quality Manager: Responsible for proactively implementing and maintaining a culture of safety and risk reduction program within the organization. Provides intervention and education related to risk management issues to promote safe work practices, quality care and services in an environment that is beneficial to the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and hospital staff.
     
    Responsible for the assessment, planning, training implementation, evaluation and optimization of all hospital and clinic Informatics projects, including Eligible Hospital and Eligible Professionals Promoting Interoperability and Merit Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS) projects. Serves as the primary interface between patient care and Information Technology to ensure multi- and inter-disciplinary project coordination.
     
    Coordinates, facilitates, and oversees the activities of the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program. Fosters a culture of continuous compliance in accordance with the compliance program. Oversees all regulatory body surveys, i.e., IDPH, State Licensing Review, and federal (CMS) surveys. Manages all incident and ethics reporting as well as care concerns and patient complaints. Provides oversight of the credentialing process for all practitioners seeking privileges at the organization.

    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Proven experience in building rapport and relationships required
      • RN licensure required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
      • Three or more years of experience in risk management, quality management and/or compliance preferred
      • Two or more years of management experience preferred
      • CPHQ, CPPS, or CPHRM certification preferred
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods time. May be exposed to communicable diseases.
  •  

    • Full Time Housekeeper (2:00pm – 10:30pm): Performs a variety of environmental service/housekeeping duties while maintaining the hospital in a clean, neat, orderly, and sanitary condition according to established procedures. Works in timely manner to clean assigned areas. Performs linen duties as assigned or required to maintain inventory levels for clean linen and the removal of soiled linen. Must have basic housekeeping and cleaning skills, knowledge of sanitation, in-depth cleaning of patient rooms, clinic rooms, etc.
      • Qualifications/Experience:
        • High school diploma or equivalent
        • Previous hospital or industrial cleaning/linen experience preferred
        • Experience with cleaning equipment and solutions helpful
      • Physical/Mental Requirements: Requires physical ability to stand, walk for long periods of time, push and pull mops and brooms, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Upper body mechanics to clean thoroughly with basic understanding of infection control procedures, standard precautions and isolation procedures.

     

    • Full Time Respiratory Therapist (Day shift, must be able to share in rotating weekend, call and holiday schedule): Provides cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders and department policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understands the purpose of each and the possible side effects associated with each. Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.
      • Qualifications/Experience:
        • Graduate of an approved School of Respiratory Therapy
        • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the State of Illinois
        • BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
        • Previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred
      • Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods time. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

     

    • Full Time Float RN (schedule will vary, must be able to work a variety of shifts, as well as holidays and weekends as needed): Provides direct and indirect patient care in Med/Surg, Emergency, Family Medicine, Surgery/Same Day, and Cardiac Rehab departments. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision. Must have basic skills knowledge, working knowledge of medication and administration and basic computer skills.
      • Qualifications/Experience:
        • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
        • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
        • BLS and ACLS Certification required
      • Physical/Mental Requirements: Able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, able to lift 50# or more, able to handle stressful situations and make independent judgments and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

     

    • Full Time Emergency Department RN (6:30pm – 7:00am): Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
      • Qualifications/Experience:
        • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
        • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
        • One year Emergency/Critical Care experience or two years Medical/Surgical experience preferred
        • BLS Certification required. ECRN, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or TNS within one year of hire
      • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more and may be exposed to communicable diseases.

     

    • Full Time and PRN (as needed) Emergency Room Intake Technician: Performs various administrative functions, such as reception and clerical work. Responsible for greeting incoming patients, completing full patient reception and registration functions which include entering demographic and insurance information. Assists ED RN in caring for patients who present to facility with life/limb threatening conditions. Must demonstrate an ability to be flexible with schedule and tasks and be able to function well in stressful situations.
      • Qualifications/Experience:
        • High school graduate or equivalent
        • Licensed in the State of Illinois as EMT-B/P, NREMT or NREMT-P
        • BLS certification required
        • One-year pre-hospital EMS experience preferred
      • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and may be exposed to communicable diseases.
