CURRENT OPENINGS:

 

  • Full Time Lab Tech (MLT or MLS), 10:30pm – 7:00am: Ability to proficiently perform a variety of chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests and procedures following established policies and procedures of the laboratory and requirements of accrediting and regulating agencies. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide laboratory services appropriate to the age of the patients served including newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related biological science
      • ASCP certification preferred
      • BLS certification required
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more and follow proper body mechanics as relates to the job. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Float RN (schedule will vary, must be able to work a variety of shifts, as well as holidays and weekends as needed): Provides direct and indirect patient care in Med/Surg, Emergency, Family Medicine, Surgery/Same Day, and Cardiac Rehab departments. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision. Must have basic skills knowledge, working knowledge of medication and administration and basic computer skills.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
      • BLS and ACLS Certification required.
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, able to lift 50# or more, able to handle stressful situations and make independent judgments and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Risk/Compliance/Quality Manager: Responsible for proactively implementing and maintaining a culture of safety and risk reduction program within the organization. Provides intervention and education related to risk management issues to promote safe work practices, quality care and services in an environment that is beneficial to the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and hospital staff.Responsible for the assessment, planning, training implementation, evaluation and optimization of all hospital and clinic Informatics projects, including Eligible Hospital and Eligible Professionals Promoting Interoperability and Merit Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS) projects. Serves as the primary interface between patient care and Information Technology to ensure multi- and inter-disciplinary project coordination.Coordinates, facilitates, and oversees the activities of the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program. Fosters a culture of continuous compliance in accordance with the compliance program. Oversees all regulatory body surveys, i.e., IDPH, State Licensing Review, and federal (CMS) surveys. Manages all incident and ethics reporting as well as care concerns and patient complaints. Provides oversight of the credentialing process for all practitioners seeking privileges at the organization.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Proven experience in building rapport and relationships required
      • RN licensure required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
      • Three or more years of experience in risk management, quality management and/or compliance preferred
      • Two or more years of management experience preferred
      • CPHQ, CPPS, or CPHRM certification preferred

 

  • Full Time Med/Surg RN (6:30pm – 7:00am): Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.  Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision. Must have basic skills knowledge, working knowledge of medication and administration and basic computer skills.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
      • BLS and ACLS Certification required.
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Able to stand and walk for periods of 2 hours or longer, able to lift 50# or more, able to handle stressful situations and make independent judgments and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Emergency Department RN (6:30pm – 7:00am): Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
      • One year Emergency/Critical Care experience or two years Medical/Surgical experience preferred
      • BLS Certification required. ECRN, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or TNS within one year of hire
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more and may be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time and PRN (as needed) Emergency Room Intake Technicians (schedule will include weekend and holiday rotation): Performs various administrative functions, such as reception and clerical work. Responsible for greeting incoming patients, completing full patient reception and registration functions which include entering demographic and insurance information. Assists ED RN in caring for patients who present to facility with life/limb threatening conditions. Must demonstrate an ability to be flexible with schedule and tasks and be able to function well in stressful situations.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school graduate or equivalent
      • Licensed in the State of Illinois as EMT-B/P, NREMT or NREMT-P
      • BLS certification required
      • One-year pre-hospital EMS experience preferred
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and may be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Family Medicine Patient Care Tech/Receptionist (PRN – as needed): Under general supervision, assists physician and staff members in providing health care to patients. Stocks and maintains exam rooms and nurses stations and assists with clinical and clerical duties. Performs clerical and information technology functions for the physician/nurse practitioner in a clinic setting. Manages patient flow by assessing needs of patients entering and exiting the clinic. Manages all incoming phone calls, maintaining patient information in computer system, and scheduling of patient appointments.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school graduate or equivalent
      • Medical Assistant Certification or completion of CNA training
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and walk for long periods of time.
