CURRENT OPENINGS:

  • Full Time LPN or RN – Family Medicine Clinic (36 hours/week): Under general supervision, assists physician and staff members in providing health care to patients. Ideal candidate will have the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate evaluation, management and treatment of care as authorized and in collaboration with the clinic physician and nurse practitioner. Stocks and maintains exam rooms and nurses stations and assists with clinical and clerical duties.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
      • Licensed as an LPN or RN with the State of Illinois
      • CPR Certification
      • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Sitting for extended periods of time, extensive computer input, using telephone, and writing. High level of activity; fast paced environment; subject to constant interruptions.

 

  • Full Time Patient Financial Services Representative/Patient Access Clerk: Position functions in a dual role, working in both the Patient Access department and Patient Financial Services department. For Patient Access, position performs various administrative functions, such as reception and clerical work. Responsible for greeting incoming patients, completing necessary paperwork, and entering demographic and insurance information. For Patient Financial Services, position gathers personal and confidential information for an assigned group of patients; acts as liaison between hospital and patients, representing and handling all respective business needs and functions for each individual patient account from the time of admission through final payment. Reviews patient account documentation and makes appropriate corrections to the account. Enters cash receipts and balances to deposits and reports. Verifies that accounts are being paid according to contracts. Must have good communication skills, ability to work professionally with colleagues, patients, and patient’s family members. Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment subject to constant interruptions.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school diploma or equivalent required
      • Must be able to use office equipment (copier, calculator, cash register, fax, scanner, etc)
      • Computer and typing skills required
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more. Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.

 

  • Surgical Technician – PRN (as needed): Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Responsible for sterilization of instruments, equipment, utensils and other supplies. Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to use sound judgment to insure quality patient care. Must be able to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in caring for patients of all ages.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or equivalent training
      • Minimum one year previous experience
      • Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred
      • CPR Certification
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, lift 50# or more, handle stressful situations and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Patient Care Tech (CNA/MA) – Emergency Department: Assists RN in caring for patients who present to facility with life/limb threatening conditions within the scope of an ER Tech. Performs various administrative functions, such as reception and clerical work. Responsible for greeting incoming patients, completing full patient reception and registration functions which include entering demographic and insurance information. Must demonstrate an ability to be flexible with schedule and tasks and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school graduate or equivalent
      • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program or Medical Assistant Program
      • BLS certification required
      • One year experience preferred
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and may be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Information Services Specialist (7:30am – 4:00pm with rotating call schedule): Provides technical support, both onsite and remote, to all areas of the organization.  Answers helpdesk calls, assigns ticket severity and prioritizes work accordingly; collaborates with other technicians to resolve issues.  Troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, installs, configures and deploys workstations, printers, peripherals and software packages. Tests new equipment and images operating systems. Researches products and new technologies to increase the efficiency of business operations. Educates users on applications and operating systems. Requires excellent communication skills and customer service. Must be able to work responsibly without direct supervision, yet be able to recognize when it is appropriate to refer issues to a supervisor.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school diploma or GED required
      • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
      • Minimum one year experience in IT support, including Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
      • Must have general understanding of internet and cloud services and network systems
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Prolonged standing and walking, frequent talking, listening and interruptions. Sedentary work with occasional reaching with hands and arms; climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

 

  • Full Time Lab Tech, MLT or MLS (2pm – 10:30pm with rotating call and holiday schedule): Proficiently performs a variety of chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests and procedures following established policies and procedures of the laboratory and requirements of accrediting and regulating agencies. Candidate will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide laboratory services appropriate to the age of the patients served including newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology
      • ASCP certification preferred
      • BLS required
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more and follow proper body mechanics as relates to the job. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Med/Surg RN or LPN (full time and part time available, all shifts available): Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      • Current RN or LPN license within the State of Illinois
      • BLS and ACLS Certification required
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, able to lift 50# or more, able to handle stressful situations and make independent judgments and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Respiratory Therapist (Day shift, must be able to share in rotating weekend, call and holiday schedule): Provides cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders and department policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understands the purpose of each and the possible side effects associated with each. Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an approved School of Respiratory Therapy
      • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the State of Illinois
      • BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
      • Previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods time. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Float RN (schedule will vary, must be able to work a variety of shifts, as well as holidays and weekends as needed): Provides direct and indirect patient care in Med/Surg, Emergency, Family Medicine, Surgery/Same Day, and Cardiac Rehab departments. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision. Must have basic skills knowledge, working knowledge of medication and administration and basic computer skills.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
      • BLS and ACLS Certification required
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, able to lift 50# or more, able to handle stressful situations and make independent judgments and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Full Time Emergency Department RN (6:30pm – 7:00am): Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
      • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
      • One year Emergency/Critical Care experience or two years Medical/Surgical experience preferred
      • BLS Certification required. ECRN, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or TNS within one year of hire
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more and may be exposed to communicable diseases.
