CURRENT OPENINGS

Emergency Department RN:

Full time (Night shift, 36 hrs/wk, 6:30pm – 7:00am, schedule will include weekend and holiday rotation)

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team of medical and administrative professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality health care to patients of all ages by administering medications, implementing physician protocols and maintaining detailed patient records. The successful candidate will have a background in Emergency Medicine and be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Expected pay for this position is $35.97 to $45.57 per hour.  Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity.  This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the physical and psychosocial well-being of patients, families and professional staff.
  • Help patients and their families deal with stress and make informed decisions.
  • Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team.
  • Communicate with professionals and patients to help them understand their diagnoses, treatment plans, and care options.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
  • Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
  • One year recent Emergency/Critical Care experience as an RN, or two years Medical/Surgical experience. Paramedic experience may be considered toward the critical care requirement.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification within 30 days of hire
  • ENPC, TNCC, and NRP within one year of hire
  • TNS preferred

Family Medicine Clinic LPN:

Full time (36 hrs/wk)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Family Medicine Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to enhancing patient well-being. As an LPN, you will work closely with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for all patients. Your expertise in medical documentation, patient assessment, and medication administration will be vital to our team’s success.

Expected pay for this position is $23.32 to $28.87 per hour.  Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity.  This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating patient conditions to inform care plans.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to prescribed protocols.
  • Maintain thorough medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and basic laboratory tests to assist physicians’ assessments.
  • Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as nutrition and medication management.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Current LPN license within the State of Illinois
  • BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and evaluation techniques for effective patient assessment
  • Experience working in an ambulatory care setting preferred

Family Medicine Patient Care Technician:

Full time (36 hrs/wk)

Under general supervision, assists physician and staff members in providing health care to patients. Reviews patient data and medical records, obtains initial information and vital signs, and reviews requisitions for completeness. Stocks and maintains exam rooms and nurses stations and assists with other clinical and clerical duties as assigned.

Expected pay for this position is $19.05 to $23.14 per hour.  Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity.  This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA Program
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience working in an ambulatory care setting preferred

Physical/Mental Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. High level of activity; fast paced environment; subject to constant interruptions. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Emergency Department Manager:

Full time (Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday but may require occasional night and/or weekend coverage.)

Position is responsible for 24/7 oversight and administrative direction of the Emergency Department and Emergency Preparedness Program, focusing on patient care and regulatory compliance; coordinates activities such as staffing, departmental meetings, quality assurance/performance improvement, budget preparation/monitoring, department goals, orientation, staff education/inservices, maintenance of personnel records and staff evaluations. Assures compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Maintains emergency preparedness by developing policies, response plans, and staff education. May function as a staff RN as needed.

Expected pay for this position is $38.56 to $56.81 per hour.  Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity.  This is a salaried exempt position.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
  • Five years emergency or critical care experience
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification within 30 days of hire
  • ENPC, TNCC, and NRP within one year of hire
  • TNS preferred
  • Knowledge of IDPH and other state and federal regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of emergency preparedness standards

Physical/Mental Requirements:
Must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate good interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrate clinical competence and knowledge in caring for adolescent through geriatric patients. Must be able to tolerate stress and work in a fast-paced environment subject to interruptions. Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time with excessive computer input. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Radiologic Technologist:

Full time (Night shift, 10:30pm – 7:00am, Sunday – Thursday, with rotating holiday, and on-call schedule)

Performs diagnostic procedures requiring the use of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. Ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, as well as the knowledge and skills to identify each patient’s requirement relative to his or her age specific needs. Candidate must also be familiar with principles of patient care, radiographic exposure, radiation protection, and specialized technique as required for a radiologic technologist. CT experience preferred.

Expected pay for this position is $25.39 – $44.59 per hour.  Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity.  This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • Radiologic Technologist registration with the State of Illinois
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and may be exposed to communicable diseases.

Respiratory Therapist:

Full Time (Day Shift, 6:30am – 7pm with rotating weekends, holiday and call schedule)

Provides cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders and department policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understands the purpose of each and the possible side effects associated with each. Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Expected pay for this position is $26.31- $39.31 per hour.  Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity.  This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the State of Illinois
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
  • Previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred
