CURRENT OPENINGS

Radiology/Mammography Technologist:

Full time (day shift, 40 hours per week with rotating weekend and call schedule)

Position performs diagnostic procedures requiring the use of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. Ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, as well as the knowledge and skills to identify each patient’s requirement relative to his or her age specific needs. Candidate must also be familiar with principles of patient care, radiographic exposure, radiation protection, and specialized technique as required for a radiologic technologist. Position requires the ability to perform x-ray and CT scans, experience with mammography is preferred but will train the right candidate.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • Radiologic Technologist registration with the State of Illinois
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and may be exposed to communicable diseases.

Med/Surg RN:

Full time (6:30pm – 7:00am, 36 hours per week with rotating weekend and holiday schedule)

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Ideal candidate will be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision.  Must have basic skills knowledge, working knowledge of medication and administration and basic computer skills.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Licensed as an RN in the State of Illinois
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, able to lift 50# or more, able to handle stressful situations and make independent judgments and be flexible to the needs of the unit. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Family Medicine Clinic RN or LPN:

Full Time Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm)

Under general supervision, assists physician and staff members in providing health care to patients. Ideal candidate will have the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate evaluation, management and treatment of care as authorized and in collaboration with the clinic physician and nurse practitioner. Stocks and maintains exam rooms and nurses stations and assists with clinical and clerical duties.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Licensed as an LPN or RN with the State of Illinois
  • CPR Certification
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Sitting for extended periods of time, extensive computer input, using telephone, and writing. High level of activity; fast paced environment; subject to constant interruptions. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Respiratory Therapist:

Full Time (Day Shift, 6:30am – 7pm with rotating weekends, holiday and call schedule)

Provides cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders and department policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understands the purpose of each and the possible side effects associated with each. Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the State of Illinois
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
  • Previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred

Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time. May be exposed to communicable diseases.
